The A Side: A Day in The Life
Globe is Universal Music UK's award-winning commercial and creative partnership division that works across all the Universal Music labels to provide tailor-made entertainment marketing solutions for a variety of brands. Globe delivers all-around agency services from consultancy to ideation to execution. Our output spans a broad spectrum of platforms and activations encompassing digital/social branded content, sync licensing, experiential, broadcast production for TV & film and soundtrack partnerships.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be collaborative
• Member of Globe's Brand Partnerships team responsible for expanding the team's network of relationships and generating new business leads
• Building a network of relationships and developing the strategic & tactical response to client briefs with cutting edge and compelling ideas
Be strategic
• Highlighting areas/categories of growth in brands x music space & identifying key trends within music & brand space for the wider Business Development team
• Establishing new brand partnerships and nurturing long term partner relations
Be operational
• Facilitating support for the Artist /Label requests
• Supporting the Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager Management of key clients, new business proposal creation and live campaigns
• Day-to-day point of contact for retained clients and lead on key projects on business brought in
• Working with the Globe team as a point of contact across all of Universal Music's labels to understand the breadth of repertoire and maximizing related opportunities, proactively taking opportunities out to market to secure commercial investment
• Providing feedback and reporting on campaigns and results as required
• Management of budgets as set by the SVP Strategic Marketing and Partnerships
Person Specification
Necessary
• A proven track record in successful business development in terms of scoping, strategising, negotiating and delivering
• Strong digital / entertainment background, tenacious and driven, with a proven track record in successful deal making
• Passion for brands & music space
• Excellent business development skills
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across a variety of internal & external stakeholders
• Advanced presentation skills
• Excellent IT skills including advanced PowerPoint and Excel
• Strategic and commercially aware
