The A Side: A Day in The Life
Permanent position reporting into the Audience Development Manager you will be expected to provide general and administrative support to the Audience Development Team, as well as technical and campaign support to UMG’s marketing teams across the world.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Technical
• Providing triage and assisting with frontline support to international marketing teams to resolve issues within the Audience Development platforms, data and campaigns
• Training and onboarding new users on marketing technology and platforms
• Assisting with User Acceptance Testing of platform developments on a monthly basis
Be Analytical
• Assisting with the running, writing and distributing of monthly reports on global Audience Development activity
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of presentations and best practice workshops for a large user-base across 44 countries worldwide
• Assisting in the delivery of data analysis, segmentation and reporting for campaign activation and performance management across international markets.
• Able to advise on data privacy requirements
Be Collaborative
• Working with other team members to create and manage consumer marketing campaigns and initiatives for our Global priority artists.
• Assisting with the distribution of campaign assets
• Assisting with the coordination of campaign execution
• Drafting of campaign case studies, industry developments and global audience figures
Be Organised
• Providing general administrative support to the Audience Development Team with duties including booking travel arrangements, meeting rooms & conference venues, ordering equipment and stationery etc
• Keeping user guides, best practice manuals and campaign case study archives up to date
• Assisting with maintaining and updating the Audience Development wiki and blog
• Multi-tasking and balancing multiple simultaneous projects
Person Specification
Necessary
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant role
• Prior experience with Marketing Technology/platforms
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulae and functions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise simultaneous workloads
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical skills
• A desire to work in a highly collaborative, but fast paced and challenging environment
• Problem solving skills and ability to work autonomously
• An interest in data, email and social marketing
• A fast learner with the ability to handle new technology
Desirable
• Knowledge of HTML
• Photoshop and design skills
• Prior knowledge of email marketing trends and best practice
• Basic understanding of GDPR
