How we LEAD:
In the Associate Manager of Licensing role, you will be a key contributor to the overall strategy and execution of the global licensing business. This position will be responsibility for driving revenue, developing strategies across our portfolio of brands and building and maintaining strong relationships across all categories.
The Associate Manager will report to, and work closely with, the Senior Vice President of Licensing to develop and execute the licensing and retail strategies across Epic Rights portfolio of brands.
How you’ll CREATE:
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
• Building and directing the execution, tone, and vision of specific licensing categories to drive revenue growth
• Identifies, sells , negotiates and licenses appropriate top manufacturers in dedicated categories across all brands
• Development and execution of incremental licensing 3rdparty/co-branded partnerships
• Quickly develop expertise in each of the relevant licensed categories and act as the resource for these categories. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the product line, the market, competitors, and all capabilities of the licensee
• Help manage the execution of tradeshows including Licensing Show and Magic
• Lead marketing initiatives such as Press Releases, Eblasts, One Sheets and other licensing sales tools
• Help manage the day-to-day work flow of the Licensing Coordinator supporting the business
Bring your VIBE:
• 3 - 5 years of licensing experience, across major categories including fashion & emerging Apparel, footwear, accessories, luxury goods, athleisure and sporting goods
• Current and established manufacturer relationships
• Ability to collaborate with key internal team members, such as product & creative development, legal, PR and marketing teams
• Knowledge and skill in developing strategic category plans
• Seasoned and skilled sales and deal negotiator
• Ability to run multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
• Experience in PowerPoint, Adobe, Photoshop, and/or Keynote
• Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Fan of and strong knowledge of the music business
