Description
The International Production Coordinator will report to the West Coast Associate Director of International Production (U.S.). The Coordinator will work closely with the west coast International & Production departments to provide physical and digital production support to Universal’s companies around the world. This person will also assist in other projects, as required for Asset & Release Management.
Job Functions:
• Interact daily with the label’s International Marketing and domestic Production personnel
• Provide support and help in coordinating the creation of all digital and physical format releases with counterparts at UMGI/London and at the individual territory level
• Maintain domestic & international releases in UMG’s Partsorder system
• Repertoire Management System (R2) metadata entry including the creation of new products, UPC, and ISRC codes
• Order International production masters on behalf of the US labels via CPRS
• Attend weekly AEC team meetings & label’s weekly Production meetings
• Help maintain and update all systems pertaining to projects
• Provide general support and expertise to label International Marketing department
• Work with International Marketing on approvals for audio, artwork, reference discs, videos, etc.
• Processing of invoices via the UNIPORT system
• Maintain AEC weekly reports and provide various content analysis reports
• Special Projects as required
Job Requirements:
• BA Degree
• Music industry experience in physical and digital production
• Strong organizational, administrative skills, pro-active and innovative
• Experience working with International companies
• An understanding and facility for working digitally.
• Production experience with music products and graphics
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, basic database skills
• A “customer service” orientation in dealing with the International Marketing Staff at the label group, as well as with our worldwide affiliates
• Highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
