A&R Operations Coordinator

This is a Full Time Job



We are currently seeking an A&R Operations Coordinator with Def Jam Recordings. Under the direction of the SVP of A&R
Operations, the A&R Operations Coordinator will support the SVP with day-to-day operations and the dissemination of assets to various department within the company. This role will also assist with special projects as needed.

Job Functions:

• Provide sequences to Studios (for mastering) and Coordinators (for HUB data).
• Provide A&R Reps with refs & timelines when requested by SVP.
• Responsible for vinyl production.
• Organize delivery of masters to External Archive Company.
• Upon approval, provide protected music to Publicity, Radio, International etc.
• Create weekly reports for SVP, A&R Operations.
• Responsible for alternate passes after EQ approval is given for singles and albums.
• Coordinate with A&R Administration for P.O.'s when sessions are booked.
• Provide clean lyrics when requested for Sales/Retailer's approval.
• Attend daily meetings.

Job Requirements:

Skills/Abilities:

• Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of iTunes & Outlook.
• Must demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness.
• Ability to multi task; work well under pressure. Meet deadlines.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Must be a team player!

Experience:
• 2 years of music industry experience is a plus.

Education:
• College Degree or equivalent experience
