UTA is seeking an experienced Manager of Accounts Receivable Reporting to join its fast growing Client Trust Accounting (CTA) team. The Manager will oversee financial operations reporting that includes Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Applications, and Collections.
What you'll do:
• Define, measure, and deliver valuable metrics and KPIs that accurately reflect operational and financial performance of the teams and take ownership of maintaining the following reports: Account Receivable aging by department, client, agent, and revenue stream, Bad Debt Roll-forward Report, Provision for Doubtful Accounts by Client Report
• Create and present executive presentations to leadership that include KPI analysis on DSO, cash collections, AR aging balances, bad debt reserves, current projects, and areas of risk and monitoring
• Communicate with all level's findings on AR and the status of performance dates on bookings
• Review business processes to ensure the proper controls are in place to pass future audits and potential SOX compliance regulations. If there are gaps, put new policies and procedures in place to create compensating controls
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for general financial operations as needed to support business and any other special projects
• Coordinate with various teams and perform complex analysis and prepare reports to summarize financial data
• Develop and maintain supporting documents for all financial reports and evaluate it for various departments and committees.
• Coordinate with various departments and prepare recurring financial reporting packages.
• Partner with our sales leaders to analyze data relationships, identify trends, and uncover both predictive and prescriptive findings
• Partner with other cross-functional groups to ensure the integrity of data across platforms and functions
• Provide technical support to assist with automation of data-driven processes such as internal and external commissions, approvals, and bookings
• Assist operations leadership with process definitions, process documentation, execution & operational issue analysis
• Translate business requirements into reporting requirements.
• Develop Dashboards to give an operational overview of the different Financial Ops
What you'll bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field
• 4+ years of relevant accounting and Financial Operations experience
• Experience with NetSuite and ability to generate reports on a regular basis
• CPA preferred
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision
