Our goal is to facilitate the financial analysis that helps make the best creative decisions. Personal interaction and communication are keys to our success. We work closely with the Post Supervisors, the Studio and the producers to help finish the film as efficiently as possible.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a full-time Assistant Accountant to join our New York team. A successful Assistant Accountant will be organized, analytical, perceptive, and resourceful. This position will be expected to enter accounts payable and purchase orders, process weekly payroll for multiple shows, reconcile production credit cards; includes conducting research projects, interacting with vendors and film crew members, sending and tracking accounting documents through show specific approval processes, 1099 processing and tax credit submissions. Critical skills for the job are prioritizing assignments and asking clarifying questions. This position works side by side with a key accountant from wrap of principal photography to final delivery to the studio. The job reports to our office near Union Square five days a week.

• Interest in pursuing a Production or Accounting career path
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Prior experience or education in Production or Accounting is a plus, but we'll consider a relevant combination of education and
experience
• Strong analytical skills and a successful track record of solving problems
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work
• Superb verbal and written communication
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and support
• Curiosity, humility, and a sense of humor
What Else
The salary range for this exempt role is $52,000-$62,400 annually.
