TIFF - THE MARKET
We are currently hiring for the position of:
SENIOR MANAGER CORP PARTNERSHIP AND PHILANTHROPY - MARKET
The Senior Manager, Corp Partnership and Philanthropy, is responsible for driving and managing partnership revenue across industry, corporate, and philanthropic partners for TIFF: The Market. This role focuses on account ownership, deal execution, partner stewardship, and revenue growth, supporting the Market’s financial and strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Director Market Sales & Partnerships, this role works closely with the TIFF’s Corporate Partnership and Philanthropy Sales Department to drive revenue growth, identify upsell opportunities with existing partners, and develop new strategic relationships.
Working closely with internal stakeholders—including Programming, Marketing, Operations, and TIFF’s Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy teams—the Senior Manager ensures that partnerships are well-integrated into the Market experience and deliver measurable value for both TIFF and its partners.
This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded relationship builder who can research, manage multiple partner accounts, identify upsell opportunities, and contribute to revenue strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Industry, Corporate & Philanthropic Sales
• Manage and grow revenue generation from industry and corporate partners, philanthropic funders, and sponsorships, contributing to Market partnership revenue targets in the $2M range.
• Collaborate closely with TIFF’s Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy team to coordinate on large deals, explore joint opportunities, drive upsells with existing partners, and develop new strategic relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for both new and existing partners, ensuring measurable outcomes and alignment with Market revenue objectives.
• Integrate industry, corporate, and philanthropic opportunities into the Market experience, working with programming, marketing, and operations teams.
• Support the Senior Director in negotiations and proposals for major strategic partnerships.
• Provide regular reporting to the Senior Director and Market leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, risks, and upsell potential.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Work closely with the Senior Director to ensure effective collaboration across Market teams and alignment of partnership initiatives.
• Act as a key internal liaison between partnership teams and programming, marketing, and operations, ensuring seamless delivery of partnership commitments.
• Represent TIFF: The Market at key industry, corporate, and philanthropic events to strengthen relationships and support partner satisfaction.
• Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture across Market teams, fostering coordinated execution between direct sales, corporate partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives.
• Other Duties as assigned
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• Immediate or upon availability
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (1st November – 30th April)
• Minimum 3 days (1st May – 31st October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Arts Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years in partnerships, sponsorship, or revenue-focused roles within cultural, media, or industry organizations.
• Demonstrated success in securing and stewarding significant industry, corporate, or philanthropic partnerships.
• Experience developing revenue growth strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience working with global brands and negotiating high-value deals is an asset.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, or revenue modeling.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not a requirement
