TIFF: THE MARKET
We are currently hiring for the position of:
SENIOR COORDINATOR, MARKET ENGAGEMENT & SERVICES
The Senior Coordinator, Market Engagement & Services provides cross-portfolio operational and administrative support within the Market Engagement & Services division. Reporting to the Director, Market Engagement & Services, this role works across the Accreditation, Market Guest Services, and Delegate Services verticals, contributing to coordinated delivery, consolidation of reporting inputs across teams, and the organization of shared documentation throughout the Market lifecycle.
In close collaboration with team leads, the Senior Coordinator maintains shared tracking tools and workflow documentation, prepares structured materials for leadership review, and supports year-round planning and record management across the portfolio. The role ensures that portfolio-wide records, data, and operational resources remain accurate, organized, and accessible across both peak Market delivery and off-cycle periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross-Portfolio Coordination & Reporting
• Consolidate and structure reporting inputs across Accreditation, Market Guest Services, and Delegate Experience portfolios, preparing clear, consistent, and leadership-ready updates that support informed decision-making for the Director, Market Engagement & Services and Market Leadership team.
• In consultation with team leads, develop, administer, and maintain the Market Engagement & Services workback and critical path within the frameworks established by the Market Project Manager, ensuring visibility of key milestones, deliverables, and cross-vertical dependencies.
• Administer Market Engagement & Services departmental meetings, including agenda coordination, documentation of key decisions and action items, and tracking follow-through across vertical teams.
• Support preparation and consolidation of post-Market reporting materials, tracking recommendations and action items to ensure follow-through and continuity into subsequent planning cycles.
Operational Support
• Provide administrative and operational support across Accreditation, Guest Services, and Delegate Experience portfolios to support consistent delivery across functions.
• Contribute to cross-vertical task execution, including data reconciliation, tracking updates, documentation support, and preparation of operational materials under the direction of the relevant Managers
• Identify and communicate emerging delivery pressures or cross-vertical coordination gaps to support timely resolution.
• Support implementation of workload adjustments and follow-through activities as required to maintain alignment across teams.
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
• $27 per hour
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• April 13 - December 31, 2026
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to April)
• Minimum 3 days (May to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Arts Management, Media Studies, Cultural Administration, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in event operations, guest services, stakeholder engagement, or comparable environments requiring high levels of coordination and external relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex guest, partner, or participant portfolios, balancing service standards with operational parameters.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise seasonal, contract, or project-based teams in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement structured processes, documentation standards, and team workflows that support clarity, consistency, and scalability.
• Sound judgment and professionalism when navigating sensitive situations, competing priorities, and real-time decision-making.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows with accuracy and composure.
• Experience within film, festival, or industry-facing environments considered an asset.
• Proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
