We are currently hiring for the position of:
PROJECT MANAGER, MARKET
Reporting to: Senior Director, Business Enablement & Operations; Head of Market
TIFF: The Market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile launch initiative. This role is responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of a complex, cross-functional program in partnership with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and deliverables from planning through launch. This includes developing and maintaining integrated project plans, coordinating dependencies across teams, and ensuring that work progresses in a structured and accountable manner.
A key aspect of this role is establishing clarity and consistency within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Project Manager will ensure that priorities are clearly defined, risks and issues are proactively managed, and leadership has timely visibility into program status to support effective decision-making.
This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments. The successful candidate will have experience delivering cross-functional initiatives and the ability to bring structure, focus, and discipline to high-visibility programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
Program Planning & Delivery
• Own and maintain the integrated program plan, including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and key delivery checkpoints
• Drive coordination across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with launch goals and priorities
• Translate high-level objectives into clear, actionable plans that teams can execute against
• Keep momentum across the program by tracking progress, identifying gaps, and removing friction
• Partner with leaders and teams to ensure plans remain realistic, aligned, and delivery-focused
• Coordinate and manage deliverables and presentation materials across diverse departments such as operations, sales, and others
Stakeholder Alignment & Coordination
• Act as the central point of coordination across internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitate alignment across teams to ensure everyone is working toward shared outcomes
• Ability to lead/chair key meetings and inspire cross-functional teams without direct line authority
• Support leadership with clear, timely visibility into progress, priorities, and upcoming decisions
• Prepare and support leadership updates, check-ins, and cross-functional planning sessions
• Help ensure the right conversations are happening at the right time to keep work moving forward
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies that could impact delivery
• Work with teams to develop practical solutions and keep work unblocked
• Escalate issues when needed, with clear context and recommended paths forward
• Maintain a clear, real-time view of program health and readiness
Launch Planning & Execution
• Support end-to-end planning and coordination for a major launch event or initiative
• Ensure all workstreams remain aligned to timelines, goals, and operational requirements
• Coordinate readiness activities leading up to launch and track completion of key deliverables
• Help manage last-minute adjustments and rapid problem-solving during execution
• Contribute to delivering a seamless, high-impact launch experience
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
• Job Grade 4
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
• June 15 (Start) – End October 30, 2026
WORK LOCATION:
• Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
• Weekly in-office requirements:
• Minimum 2 days (November to April)
• Minimum 3 days (May to October)
• Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 5–8 years of project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience working with senior leaders and navigating shifting priorities
• Proven success delivering large-scale events, launches, or fast-paced, high-pressure programs from planning through execution
• Strong ability to lead and align multiple teams across complex, interdependent workstreams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level updates and presentations
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail under pressure
• Experience driving end-to-end project execution, including planning, tracking, and dependency management
• Ability to manage structured delivery processes including meeting cadences, action tracking, and follow-ups
• Experience developing governance artifacts such as RACI matrices, status reports, and decision logs
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks including risk registers, mitigation plans, and escalation paths
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project
• Comfort using collaboration tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SharePoint/Drive, Teams, Slack, and PowerPoint

CAD $65,000 - CAD $103,020 /year CAD
Typically, candidates new to the role are positioned up to the midpoint of the range.
