This is an in-office position. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Coordinator to support both our development and distribution teams.
This role plays a key part in keeping our development slate and distribution pipeline organized and moving forward. You'll support executives across both departments by managing research, tracking projects, coordinating creative materials, preparing pitch and distribution assets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate enjoys creating order out of complexity, is passionate about television, and takes pride in producing polished, accurate work. They are equally comfortable brainstorming creative ideas, coordinating logistics, and handling detailed administrative responsibilities.
Primary Development Responsibilities:
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference calls, and project deadlines for the development team.
• Prepare meeting agendas, distribute notes, and track action items.
• Assist in the research, development, and tracking of scripted and unscripted projects.
• Read pitch materials and provide coverage and creative feedback.
• Research market trends, buyer mandates, industry news, talent, and competitive programming.
• Assist in creating development materials including pitch decks, treatments, and presentations.
• Maintain project tracking documents, talent databases, writer/director lists, and development schedules.
• Coordinate communications with agents, managers, talent representatives, production companies, and other external partners.
• Assist with brainstorming and developing original series concepts.
• Ensure projects remain organized and deadlines are consistently met.
Primary Distribution Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize non-media distribution deliverables, ensuring all materials meet network and platform specifications.
• Create, proofread, and maintain metadata, title information, show descriptions, and other distribution materials.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with post-production team to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Track delivery schedules and maintain accurate records of submitted materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in television, film, digital media, or entertainment development.
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
• Experience writing script, book, or pitch coverage is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors before they become problems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of scripted and unscripted television development is a must.
• Familiarity with current entertainment trends, buyers, talent, and streaming platforms.
• Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Google Workspace, and Canva.
• Passion for storytelling, particularly in the true crime space.

Hourly rate depends on experience. Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacation, sick leave, paid holidays; and a 401(k) plan.

Our slate spans documentary series, scripted projects, and innovative unscripted formats. In addition to developing original content, we've expanded into distribution, bringing both our in-house catalog and carefully curated acquired content to networks and streaming platforms.
