We are currently hiring for the position of:
Facility Assistant
The facility assistant supports the Facilities department with daily tasks and is an important piece that allows the operation to run smoothly. The facility assistant will report into the Sr. Coordinator, Facilities and Sr. Manager, Facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support event set-ups and office workspace reconfigurations, including arranging tables, chairs, carpets, and step-and-repeat backdrops.
• Work closely with the Event Production department to execute event set-ups throughout the building, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete seasonal workstation builds leading up to the Festival, assembling and configuring furniture and equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret floor plans to ensure layouts match event and workspace requirements.
• Utilize Google Suite tools comfortably for communication, and coordination of tasks.
• Provide support to Shipping & Receiving as required.
CONTRACT DATES OR START DATE:
Start date –June 5th 2026
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma
• Solid communication skills
• Experience working in an event based environment
• Strategic thinking under pressure
• Comfortable in a high-traffic environment
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
• Strong team player with the ability to work respectfully and collaboratively.
• Reliable and self-motivated; able to work independently when needed.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
