Spring Paid Intern - Digital Production

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Internship Duration: June 1, 2026 - March 1 2027

Time/Days Required: Min 15 hrs/week with a mandatory total of 400 hours by end of internship

Workplace Requirements: In-Office in Santa Monica

About the Role:

The core of this role lives in Premiere. You'll report to our Director of Operations and collaborate day-to-day with our editing team. This internship is eligible for academic credit through your institution, if you so choose.

Undergraduate enrollment is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Editorial Support
• Pulling selects and rough assembly cuts
• Logging and transcribing footage, as needed
• Stringouts for editors to work from
• Creating and maintaining project organization
• Multicam syncing and sequence setup
• Conform and online editorial, as needed
• Exporting various cuts and versions
• Closed captioning and subtitle work
• EDL/XML exports for color or audio finishing
• Prepping and QCing deliverables against spec sheets
• Maintaining version control and cut lists
• Archiving and backing up projects
• Pulling reaction shots and alt takes for editors
• Cutting B-roll and crowd reaction selects
• Building joke-by-joke stringouts from standup footage

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in CapCut
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
• Working knowledge of After Effects a plus
• Familiar with Dropbox for file delivery and collaboration
• 1-2 prior post house or production company experiences
• Film school enrollment or equivalent production background
• At least one professional reference required
• LA-based; available on-site in Santa Monica min 15 hrs/week

Ability to work 400 hours total over the internship duration of June 1, 2026 through March 1, 2027
