Music Booking Agency Internship

Music booking agency seeks a hardworking intern to assist with venue/event research associated with booking premier musical talent at venues around the world. Responsibilities will include contacting event organizers, researching venues across the globe that would be suitable for our artists, and general clerical duties. The internship offers an opportunity to make contacts and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and rapidly expanding music and entertainment industry and to improve general office and business skills. This position will be remote but will have consistent contact with the rest of the team.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills required
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess good follow-through while adhering to deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently
• Strong interest in the music industry required
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Internship Start Date/Season: ASAP
Internship Duration: 3-4 months (possibility to transform this internship into a paid opportunity)
Time/Days Required: 2-3 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Depending on applicant availability)
Workplace Requirements: Remote (intern does not have to be located in Los Angeles)
