Executive Assistant

This Executive Assistant will provide support for the Executive Producer of a national, daily TV newsmagazine in Burbank, CA. Ideal candidate is passionate about true crime, news, and social media. This position is the ideal opportunity for someone who thrives under deadlines, enjoys challenges, and wants to grow, and is looking for hands-on experience in all aspects of television production.

Responsibilities
• Answering phones & managing busy daily schedules
• Organizing meetings, in person & virtual
• Planning travel and booking occasional off-site meetings
• Serving as gatekeeper between Executive Producers, the staff, and outside contacts
• Screening and evaluating incoming pitches
• Preparing expense reports
• Contributing to all areas of the production, from doing to research to monitoring news sites, transcribing interviews, and compiling ratings reports

Qualifications
• 3+ years as an administrative assistant to a busy executive
• Polished and able to represent Executive Producers in a highly professional manner
• A passion for true crime, news, entertainment, pop culture and social media
• Self- starter, highly organized and able to multi-task under deadline
• Strong communication skills
• Detailed and accurate in their work
• Discrete and able to maintain confidentiality about sensitive matters and information
• MUST be local to Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 salary per year ($24 - $28 hourly).
Start Date: June 24th
Note: Contract is for 48 weeks
