Charity Raffle Ambassador

Requirements:
Arrive 1.5 hours before gametime and roam Charlotte Sports Park garnering donations in exchange for raffle tickets.
Responsibilities
1. Educate fans and answer questions about the Rays Baseball Foundation programming and 50/50 Charity Raffle.
2. Facilitate raffle ticket transactions via electronic handheld device.
3. Serve as Rays Baseball Foundation ambassador, enhancing our fan experience.
4. Accurately handle both cash and credit card transactions.
5. Must be able to walk long distances, climb up/down stadium stairs, while standing for long periods of time.
6. Understand and be able to articulate the mission of the Rays Baseball Foundation to fans.
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Qualifications
1. Outgoing personality with inviting demeanor.
2. Comfortable approaching people and requesting donations in front of crowds.
3. Able to work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by Tampa Bay Rays.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
5. Exceptional customer service skills.
6. Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Bilingual a plus.
