Office Production Assistant

Rotten Science, an Emmy Award-winning boutique film production company, is seeking a part-time Production Office Assistant to support the team across development, production, and live event projects. Responsibilities include day-to-day administrative and production support, assistance with project coordination, and occasional help on set or at live shows and events. Candidates should have prior assistant experience in entertainment, be highly organized, proactive, and excited to work in comedy production. Social media experience is a plus. This is a part-time position with a flexible, hybrid schedule, though candidates must be based in Los Angeles and available for occasional in-person needs.

Day to Day:
Assist with general administrative and production support across active projects
Help coordinate production logistics
Conduct research related to development, production, and live shows
Support the team with document organization, tracking deliverables, and basic office tasks
Assist with on-set needs during shoots and occasional live events
Help manage project materials, talent information, and production assets
Run occasional errands or provide logistical support for productions and events
Assist with light social media coordination or digital content tasks when needed
Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior assistant experience in entertainment, production, or media
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Based in Los Angeles
Positive attitude and genuine interest in comedy, film, or television
Social media familiarity is a plus
