Stage 32 is the largest online platform for connecting and educating film, television, and digital creatives and professionals worldwide.
As part of the mission to provide screenwriters and filmmakers direct access to decision makers in the entertainment industry, Stage 32 operates multiple screenwriting contests - each with a unique and specific creative focus.
Working directly under the Director of Script Services, the Screenwriting Competition Coordinator position manages the administration and execution of these contests from beginning to end.
Primary responsibilities in this role will include (but are not limited) to:
Write Contest Copy for every contest
Create unique and engaging graphics for every contest
Maintain Contest Pages on site
Upload Contest Details to 3rd Party Partner Sites
Manage schedule for 3rd Party Notification Mailers for Contests
Send out Contest Notification Emails to Contestants
Schedule winner meetings with Judges and Mentors
Manage that winners are recording videos for Stage 32 social media
Update success stories from contests on the Success Stories page
Assign and Track Contest Reading and Coverage
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1-3 years of Contest, Festival, Competition or Market experience.
Proficiency in Copywriting and Marketing language.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work well under deadlines and in high stress environments.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Calendars, MailChimp, and CanvaAble to work collaboratively within a team.
Effectively able work on multiple projects at a time.
Versed in story development and content creation across multiple platforms.
Be highly organized and able to multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven adaptability to differing cultural and business environments.
A knowledge of - and passion for - the film and television industry.
Problem solver.
Ability to work efficiently while working remotely.
