Spirit Music Group, an independent music publisher, is the industry leader in actively marketing and promoting our extensive song catalog to users of music including Film/TV studios, advertisers, video game companies, recording artists and emerging technologies. We represent more than 20,000 copyrights, including such classic catalogs as Lou Reed and The Grateful Dead and such buzzing new artists as MGMT, the Scissor Sisters, the Mooney Suzuki and Ambulance Ltd. We work with artists and songwriters from the 30s until now, from rock to pop to hip-hop and folk.
The creative department is seeking an eager intern to help keep the department and company organized. This is an excellent way to get your foot in the door and learn the business in ''music business''.
You MUST be willing to tackle the grunt work, as we all pitch in to keep work moving. We're a casual small office of hard-workers and there's a lot of room to grow for a self-motivated individual. T-shirt and jeans are a-okay but must ''get'' business etiquette.
We work aggressively for the artist, music-lovers welcome.
