(S) Seasonal Tech Production Coordinator
Job Purpose
You work with the Tech Production team to ensure that everyone working on-site has the technical equipment and support needed to perform their job duties. To do this, the Production Coordinator will set up, distribute, and maintain the technical assets. In this role, you may be asked to provide technical support and basic troubleshooting for both hardware and software. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Imaging and configuring phones, laptops, and tablets
• Perform equipment quality assurance to ensure smooth operation for users.
• Prep and organization of equipment to efficiently move on-site
• Off-site shifts, prepping gear at our storage units
On-Site Event Responsibilities
• Distributing technical equipment to staff
• Provide 1st and 2nd tier support for on-site technical issues
• Set up various production areas with power and Ethernet
• Transport technical equipment to various venues around the event
• Drive various production vehicles (box truck, cargo van, etc)
• Adhere to the production schedule to ensure deliverables are met
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications include:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with MacOS and iOS
• Ability to follow diagrams/floor plans
• Comfortable leading a team to accomplish tasks
• Proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
• Ability to remain calm and communicate effectively in high-pressure situations
• Experience with the administration of software
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully:
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, as needed.
• Operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
• May require occasional bending, reaching, kneeling, or climbing stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors, including exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
Work Location & Schedule
The position is full-time and located in Austin, Texas. Core business office hours are from 10 am-6 pm Monday through Friday. You must be available to work additional hours from January through March, including evenings and weekends. You must also be available for the March event, which will have extended on-site working hours.
