The intern will oversee the overall operations of the office for the studio and provide administrative support to the Owner handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks, including but not limited to the following:
- Responsibilities
- • Oversee the overall operations and efficiency of the office
- • Provide key executive administrative support to the Owner - anticipate needs, follow-through on all details and handle all confidential situations
- • Communicate, manage, and resolve critical issues and risks
- • Participate in weekly meetings and assist in developing the agenda
- • Build and maintain relationships with clients
- • Manage events for Studio including sessions, artist showcases, and all staff team building events. Work to establish a budget, develop proposal and make recommendations, and oversee execution
- • Manage office floor plans - ensure accuracy of allocation charges, manage space allocations and create setup for all new employees. Oversee and manage all aspects of employee moves
- • Serve as point of contact for building management regarding building policies and work to be done or issues relating to maintenance of the space; other vendors as needed
- • Calendar management, including scheduling of appointments across multiple time zones, arranging rooms, video conferences, and audio facilities
- • Screen incoming calls and greet guests
- • Order office supplies for the studio
- Qualifications
- • 1-3 years experience required (music industry experience)
- • Bachelor's Degree preferred
- • Requires knowledge of Office Programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- • Ability to multi-task and meet pressure deadlines
- • Flexibility with hours
- • knowledge and interest in music, ( recording and mixing gear knowledge and interest is a plus)
- • Highly Organised, very neat
- • Fast learner
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
