Full Job Description
Director of Corporate Franchise Management, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Culver City, CA.
The Director of Corporate Franchise Management supports the SVP in cultivating and sustaining franchises that drive consumer passion, fandom, and long-term economic success. This role helps develop multi-year franchise strategies and roadmaps for priority IPs, conducts franchise evaluations and opportunity assessments, and identifies cross-divisional growth opportunities including content extensions, partnerships, monetization, and brand collaborations.
The position serves as a liaison across divisions including Motion Pictures Group, Sony Pictures Television, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Consumer Products, and Corporate Strategy to coordinate initiatives, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and track enterprise-level priorities, milestones, and deliverables. The Director collaborates with Consumer Insights and Data teams to interpret audience, brand, and business performance; contributes to franchise health dashboards and senior leadership presentations; and supports brand and creative stewardship by applying franchise guidelines and evaluating creative concepts for long-term value and brand fit.
Success in this role requires deep understanding of storytelling and marketing, strong analytical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working closely with senior executives and creative partners.
