Billing Coordinator
Sony Pictures Entertainment is presently looking a Billing Coordinator in our SONY PICTURES CLASSICS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT in New York City.
Sony Pictures Classics (SPC) specializes in the acquisition, marketing and distribution of prestigious foreign and American independent films. Operations include booking theatres, shipping prints, billing and collections, overseeing the creation of ad campaigns and trailers, and implementing creative marketing strategies tailor-made for each picture. SPC releases have been nominated for over 20 Academy Awards.
Responsibilities include:
• Answering EVP, Operations & GM's phone when Assistant to EVP & GM is on vacation or steps away from desk.
• Responsible for Theater Accounts. Includes emailing weekly & monthly statements for payment.
• Reviewing necessary paperwork for new accounts and scanning.
• Maintaining Shipping Holds - Reviewing each theater account that is on hold and releasing prints/keys for weekly releases.
• Contacting delinquent accounts via phone and email.
• Following up so print/key is released.
• Depositing Checks into our accounting system. The rotation includes entering the checks into our accounting system, batching, and going to the bank for deposits.
• Weekly Print Hold/ Finance meetings with the Operations Department - Updating the department on account status and going over any issues or delinquent accounts.
• Entering Box office reports into our accounting system. Responsible for paying vendors through our accounts payable system.
• Responsible for Co- Presidents phone coverage once/ twice a week.
