General Summary:
Work with Exec Director Finance and Operational management with the preparation and presentation of periodic financial projections. This includes an annual budget, a 3-year strategic plan and quarterly forecasts for SPT Latin America Distribution and Production businesses.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed budget/forecasts for Distribution business working with Sales and Sales Planning areas. Maintenance of budget database
Prepare detailed budget/forecasts for Production business
Submission of budgets/forecasts to Home Office including consolidated reports and templates.
Preparation and submission of overhead budgets/forecasts
Track actuals versus budget and forecasts, preparation of variance analyses
Prepare consolidated summary reports for management
Assist with preparation of presentations
Preparation and submission of Monthly Flash including variances to budget
Prepare ad hoc reports for management or to external clients
Provide ad hoc support to Home Office as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting experience; analysis of market trends and impact to related businesses
Fluent in English and Spanish, oral and written
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to adapt and function within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Excellent Excel and/or PowerPoint skills essential
Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
5 to 7 years of finance/accounting experience; 2 to 3 years of managerial experience; entertainment experience is desired.
