Wanted: Music Management – Booking Agency Intern

SMG Entertainment is a multi-faceted entertainment company specializing in the management of music artists. We also have a middle agent booking division - The Concert Agency. As a booking agency we purchase and produce large scale concerts, corporate, private, and college events. We have worked with Maroon 5, OAR, Ludacris, Dashboard Confessional, Colbie Caillat, and Elton John.

Description:  

Duties are arranged so that interns have the ability to learn many aspects of the entertainment industry. Along with basic administrative duties, interns are responsible for… 

• Fan Building/ Street Team

• Artist Scheduling

• Tour Promotions

• Project Research/Lead Generating

• Database Entry 

• Using Excel, Word, Photoshop, HTML, etc.     

Location: Santa Monica, CA  

Semester: Spring 2012 

Position: Part Time (some flexibility in work hours). 

Requirements: Resume and References. 

Compensation: Class credit may be received
