Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo, a boutique entertainment law firm, is seeking an Associate with a minimum of two years of firm experience. For more than 30 years, Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo LLP has been representing clients in all aspects of the entertainment and media industries, including writers, directors, actors, producers, musicians, composers and authors, as well as production companies, financiers, music publishing companies, sales agents, and motion picture and television studios.

Responsibilities:

Work on transactions and talent representation in the film and television/streaming industries

Draft and negotiate agreements covering all facets of film/TV development, production and distribution, including rights acquisition, finance, production services, talent services and sales/distribution.

Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage production legal contracts and transactions.

Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients.

Requirements:

Must be a member of the bar in New York State with 2-5 years of experience at a top law firm and/or boutique entertainment practice.

A demonstrated interest in the film/television and work experience in the entertainment industry.

Excellent academic credentials, and the ability to think strategically and creatively while providing practical counsel to clients.

Superior writing skills and attention to detail,

A learning orientation with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, servicing multiple leading industry clients.
