Producer - Short

The project is a fast-paced, highly visual 5-page short about a neurotic insomniac navigating life in a surreal, slapstick zombie-sleepwalking state. The tone is visual, physical, and comedic, with minimal dialogue.

Shoot Dates: One weekend in August
Location: Los Angeles
Commitment: 2-3 days (depending on whether you're interested in pre-production)

Project Synopsis
Think ''The Graduate'', visually, but on a much smaller scale.

This is a fast-paced 5 page comedy, revolving around a neurotic protagonist in a zombie sleepwalking state but with some slapstick comedy. It's heavily visual to convey the comedy of operating on no sleep.

Jay can't sleep. When they do try to sleep their day starts and they are in a manic rush to get through it. Only problem they haven't sleep and so drag themselves in a zombie state through their day. Jay bumps into other barely ''awake'' sleepwalkers who suffer from the same malady and together they try to solve their constant sleepiness states.

This is unfortunately not a paid position but only requires a short 2 day commitment on an August weekend. We're on the final round of casting and have found several locations needed for the script while still needing a few more. We're looking to bring on a resourceful Producer to help produce a production already on its way.

We're just seeking a Producer who actually wants to produce a short film that's operating on a $500 budget. That's the budget for the film. If you have working relationships and can help us secure a few locations for a shoot that lasts only a few hours then excellent. If that sounds like too much work then this is not for you.
