Script Coordinator

The Script Coordinator manages the screenplay throughout the production of the film. They oversee script revisions, maintain version control, distribute updated drafts, and ensure every department is working from the most current approved script. As a central communication point between the Storyboard Department and production, the Script Coordinator helps keep the screenplay organized and synchronized with the film's evolving production.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain the official screenplay and all approved revisions.
Track script changes and prepare revision pages or updated drafts.
Distribute approved script revisions to cast and crew through the production's secure digital systems.
Maintain accurate version control and revision histories.
Coordinate communication between the Storyboard team and other production departments regarding script updates.
Verify that storyboards, animatics, dialogue recordings, and production materials reflect the latest approved script.
Organize script review meetings and record notes when requested.
Archive previous script versions and production documents.
Assist the Director, Producer, and Storyboard team with script-related administrative tasks.
Help maintain confidentiality of story materials throughout the remote production.

Qualifications
Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with screenplay formatting and script management.
Familiarity with animation or film production workflows.
Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration, document management, and office software.
Ability to work independently in a remote production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Script Coordinator, Script Supervisor, or Production Coordinator.
Familiarity with screenwriting software such as Final Draft or similar applications.
Experience with 2D animation.
