This is a Part Time Paid Internship
The Ready to Work Internship Program offers paid, hands-on experience for students interested in building professional skills within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization. Interns will support day-to-day operations, contribute to real projects, and gain exposure to how teams collaborate across the business.
Interns will participate in structured onboarding, professional development sessions, mentorship opportunities, and meaningful project-based work aligned to team priorities. This program is designed to provide practical experience, skill-building, and career exposure for emerging talent in the San Antonio community.
Who You Are:
To be eligible for the Ready to Work Internship Program, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student, including:
• Rising undergraduate juniors, or
• Graduate students who have completed at least one year of their program
• Must have at least one academic year remaining following completion of the internship
• Must be eligible to participate in the City of San Antonio's Ready to Work Program
• Must be based in or attending school in the San Antonio area
• Must be available to participate in the full 8-week internship program (June 22 – August 14, 2026)
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship period.
The Culinary Experience Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of food & beverage operations for SS&E. This role provides exposure to event operations, guest experience management, project coordination, and partner collaboration while working with internal teams and food & beverage service providers to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences during sporting events, concerts, and special events.
What You'll Do
• Assist in coordinating and managing food & beverage projects, operational initiatives, and process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and guest experience at Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, sponsorship, sales, and service teams to support event planning, partner activations, and contractual hospitality commitments.
• Assist with event-day food & beverage operations, conducting quality assurance reviews and supporting concession, catering, and premium hospitality execution.
• Analyze operational performance, guest feedback, and food & beverage trends to develop recommendations and present insights to venue leadership.
