We have a vacancy for a Digital Filmmaking Lecturer. The ideal candidate will have a masters degree in a related field along with diverse professional production experience in film and television. Previous teaching or training experience is desirable.

Candidates should be competent in digital video camera operation, studio and outdoor lighting, production management techniques, budgetting and video editing (preferably on Final Cut). Additionally candidates should have sound theoretical knowledge and a good grasp of film history and film business.

All teaching is in English. Arabic is not required.

SAE Amman offers a starting salary (including accommodation allowance) of around USD $40,000 + return flights + health insurance + social security contributions (which can usually be reclaimed on leaving Jordan after 12 months of employment).

The college has students from 23 different countries and an international faculty, with a young and vibrant energy.

Applicants should be able to commit to living in Jordan for not less than 12 months.
