Podium works with top authors and voice actor talent and functions as both a publisher and audio-first studio as it actively partners with independent writers to own and best monetize their IP.

Job Requirements:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Nicole Antos, the Partner Marketing Manager will join the company's growing marketing team. Job responsibilities will include:
Author Comms: This role will be on the frontlines of all ongoing marketing-related communication with authors, working with them to devise strategies and tactics to drive awareness of their titles and helping them invest and manage their brands/channels over time. With over 750+ authors on the Podium roster, this will require dexterity in managing one-on-one communications individually while at the same time managing the messaging to hundreds.
Title Marketing: While working closely with the publishing team to select and deliver titles for ongoing marketing opportunities across paid and earned channels, this person will project manage the development and delivery of monthly highlights presentations for distribution partners as well as support key title campaigns on Podium's myriad channels.
Internal Project Management: This person will utilize their ninja-like Slack / email / Airtable / task management proficiency to liaise and integrate with author relations, acquisitions, and production departments. Additionally, they will be responsible for organizing and ensuring project deadlines are met for title marketing campaigns.
Channel Management: The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for contributing to key top authors' brand / IP growth strategies, ensuring that their websites, social media accounts and newsletter are active and growing. They will also collaborate with wider marketing team on campaign planning, brand building and special projects.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree required
-Manager or Senior Manager level experience developing, managing and growing social media accounts and/or websites/email CRM
Platform proficiency/expertise: GSuite, Excel, Microsoft PPT, Slack, Airtable, Photoshop, Canva, Facebook / Business Manager / Ads Manager, all social platforms, Mailchimp.
- Incredible communicator and project management skills. Should be able to balance high level of external comms (email) with internal comms (Slack, Zoom) while simultaneously managing myriad title and author brand projects
- Incredible writing skills. As a book publisher, there is a high level of expectation for grammar, punctuation and clarity when it comes to external communication and marketing copy.
- Proclivity toward creative collaboration, with ability to take constructive criticism in stride.
- Leadership skills: self-awareness around their function and effect within the organization. Respectful and inspiring.
- Must be willing to work in the office (El Segundo) 3x days / week, working remotely from home 2x days / week.
