Intern - Marketing (2026 Season)

Job Summary

This role will assist the Pittsburgh Pirates Marketing department with various projects and daily activities. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and the ability to learn under experienced professionals, while building and enhancing the Pirates brand.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Assist in the creation and coordination of short form vertical content.
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices for effective marketing strategies.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
• Assist with coordinating, planning, and executing special events and projects.
• Support the Bucaroos Kids Club both in the office and on gameday as needed.
• Assist in gameday execution by collaborating with Ballpark Entertainment and Corporate Partnerships departments.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Candidates majoring in Marketing, Sports Management, or similar field.
• Must be in a Degree-Seeking Program at Junior, Senior or Graduate level.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desired:
• Experience in a marketing or social media role
• Familiarity with social media platforms
