Junior Publicist
Perception PR
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Full Time Job
Perception PR is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Junior Publicist to help develop and execute comprehensive awards and film/series publicity campaigns for a diverse roster of entertainment industry clients. Three years experience working at an agency, studio, network or streamer is required. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented with a professional demeanor who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
You are the perfect person for this job if you love watching movies and television and think Oscar® and Emmy® nights are two of the best nights of the year. You believe that there is no job too big or too small. You thrive in high pressure situations and environments. You are a self-starter and adept at prioritizing your time. You are self-confident and self-sufficient but always interested in hearing someone else’s input and ideas and know that you never know where the next big, great idea is coming from. You’re a team player and willing to jump in and help others on the team if you have the time to do so, even if it’s a job that doesn’t necessarily fall under your job description. You’re honest and loyal. You love a good brainstorm session. You are passionate about the entertainment industry and especially the awards space. You are extremely organized and have no problem handling multiple clients and juggling a lot of balls in the air at once. You are a big picture thinker who knows that the strategy is in the details and can keep it all straight and running smoothly. You value freedom in the work environment rather than corporate structure.
This is an opportunity to join a team where you will be part of all aspects of the campaigns we create and execute for our clients. There will be an in-person component to the role which may include attending screenings, events, interviews and other client-related and industry events. Candidates must be located in the Los Angeles or New York area. If based in Los Angeles, they must have their own transportation to get to and from work events.
