The Standards and Practices department is responsible for ensuring that programming and advertising presented meets standards of good taste and community acceptability.
Intern Responsibilities:
1. Competitive Programming: Review competitive programming on linear and digital networks for S&P issues; learn and maintain competitive database and inventory; perform project-specific research related to competitive.
2. Administrative: Including but not limited to data entry within multiple databases; sorting, distributing and filing. Weekly team meeting preparation (preparing and updating grids, calendars, etc.).
3. Production: Shadow review process for series, scripts, live action and animated projects and seeking S&P clearance. Digitally archive music video lyric notes.
4. Advertising: Assist with group-specific or departmental projects.
5. Digital Media: Review postings on branded social media sites and research social/streaming web policies and practices.
Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
