Overview & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources to support the Operations functions within the Ad Sales organization. This individual will play a key role in partnering with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into practical HR & talent initiatives. Ideally you will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, as this individual will work alongside managers on all aspects of people management and employee relations. Reporting to the Director HR, you will provide solutions-focused HR guidance to help our business unit achieve their goals and improve performance.
Overview & Responsibilities:
• Build effective partnerships with business unit leadership to maintain and continue building a culture of performance excellence.
• Provide full scope HR partnership to leaders including: executive mentoring, employee relations, incentive and compensation actions and leveling. Could also include employee engagement and culture development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design, change management, succession planning, performance management and people development.
• Partner with the HR Director on organizational design, workforce planning and goal setting.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to translate business priorities into short-term and long term staffing plans as well as ensure seamless execution of our cohort program.
• Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across Paramount on initiatives, policies & procedures, and integrations when needed.
• Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job leveling.
Basic Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of well-rounded HR Business Partner experience in a professional environment where customer service is paramount; proficient in all subject areas of the HR function and current in emerging talent practices and developments.
• Strong functional HR knowledge; is proficient in disciplines of the HR function and stays current in emerging talent practices and developments
Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated good HR judgment in dealing with complex employee relations cases.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes which govern policies and practices of hiring, compensation and benefits and general employment.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully working at all levels of the organization, demonstrating influence and client consulting skills with employees, managers and senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex business issues and develop HR initiatives/actions to support broad business strategies
• Operates with a high sense of urgency and initiative; able to proactively anticipate issues while providing viable, alternative solutions to the business
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; skilled in communicating with diverse clients, both 1:1 and in large groups
• Displays courage and confidence when tacking tough coaching situations while maintaining trusting client relationship
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment; strong collaboration skills with peers and corporate HR partners
