Season Associate Term: Indiana Fever Season (May - September 2026)
Anticipated Time Commitment: approximately 40 hours per week
Position Location: on-site in Indianapolis, IN
Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated Community Engagement Season Associate to assist our Community Engagement team throughout the Indiana Fever season. The overall focus will be on helping our Community Engagement team with event preparation and execution, as well as assisting with various office tasks and projects. The Community Engagement Season Associate will work 40 hours per week, including most game nights and events. Due to the game and event schedule, the Community Engagement Season Associate must have the availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Community Engagement staff with general office tasks
• Handle merchandise donation data entry and correspondence
• Help manage Fever Friends ticket program
• Assist or lead community events (e.g., summer food program, signing day, back to school)
• Oversee High Five Club at most home Fever games
• Manage incoming mail and email for Community Engagement
• Research and suggest improvements for current programs
• Support Jr. Hoops Tour (registration, data, follow-up)
• Help with basketball camps and clinics as needed
• Help and oversee the Anthem Assist program and honoree selection process
• Assist or lead community events (e.g., summer food program, signing day, back to school)
• Attend meetings as required and provide feedback
• Assist other departments and work games as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing (or recently received) a bachelor's or master's degree as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in relevant major. Sports Administration, Community Engagement, or other related business majors preferred.
• Coaching skills preferred.
• Experience in special events planning.
• Experience and knowledge of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and perform detail-oriented work.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to speak in front of small or large groups, including children and adults).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate and the noise level in the Fieldhouse / game environment is usually loud. The stress level may become high during certain times of the year.
