Account Manager - Odeum Labor Services
Location: New York City (Remote)

Reports To: Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and projects, ensuring seamless communication and accountability.
Build accurate labor estimates, proposals, and job scopes using OLS rate cards and templates.
Communicate with clients to understand project scope and requirements, then translate those needs into actionable staffing plans using our labor pool
Build deep, long-term client partnerships by anticipating needs through a clear understanding of their workflows and challenges, and by spotting opportunities for new or expanded work where Odeum's services can make an impact.
Collaborate with clients to ensure solutions that serve both their goals and Odeum's long-term success, maintaining fairness, transparency, and partnership in every interaction.
Visit job sites to strengthen client rapport and understand project conditions firsthand.
Track scope changes, job updates, and progress through Pipedrive, Freedcamp, and Nowsta.
Oversee job costing, billing review, and financial reconciliation for assigned projects.
Lead full project closeout: gather crew notes, client feedback, and any outstanding items; update records, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure lessons are captured for future work.
Ensure all client expectations are documented, confirmed, and met from kickoff through completion.
Internal Collaboration
Partner closely with the Payroll, Scheduling, and HR teams-communicating often, sharing updates, and working together to keep projects and crew experiences consistent across markets.
Work hand-in hand with Labor Deployment Managers to build the best possible crews combining your understanding of client needs with their expertise in staffing to make sure each project has the right people in the right place.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems, templates, and SOPs.

Partner with leadership to balance sales and operational capacity, helping determine and communicate when additional bookings, staffing, or onboarding are needed to meet demand responsibly.
Coordinate with the Labor Deployment Manager to match the right crew for each project and ensure staffing reflects both skill and cultural fit.

Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in live events, theatrical production, or technical labor management.
3-4 years of direct account management or client-facing project management experience.
NYC-based remote role with scheduled in-person meetings or client visits as needed. (venues, co-working spaces, or other shared environments).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, successfully balancing shifting priorities and maintaining momentum through both heavy and light workload periods.
Deep understanding of event production logistics, labor coordination, and client communication.
Skilled at managing budgets, estimates, and project workflows.
Experience using CRM and project management tools (Pipedrive, Freedcamp, or similar).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Calm, dependable, and team-oriented under pressure.
