The Post Production Coordinator will help the Producers, Directors, Production Managers and/or Production Supervisors on all tasks during post-production and production (if applicable).
At OddBot Inc, the Production Coordinator assists the Post Production Manager and/or Production Manager with animation notes, post coordination and ensuring departmental productivity goals are consistently met on a Production.
The ideal candidate for this position is flexible, self-directed, and accustomed to grace under pressure. You are technical- and operations-minded and can tackle highly ambiguous problems in the post-production space. Responsibilities
o Plan, schedule, and manage the assignments and daily workflow of the editing team.
o Help plan, schedule, and manage the assignments with our partner sound team, music team, and final picture team to ensure the timely, high quality delivery.
o Assist Post Production Manager, Editors, Directors and Producers in establishing and documenting workflows, creative standards, and processes as well as technical guidelines for the post production team.
o Assist and take notes at Design reviews, Creative Calls, Animatic Reviews, Animation Launches, Animation Reviews, VFX Launches, VFX Reviews, Music Reviews, Mixes, and Online reviews.
o Generate tracking documents on an ongoing basis.
o Help oversee QC issues of all outbound content to ensure company standards of quality and brand guidelines are met.
o Partner with the Post Production Manager to attend and take notes at Retake sessions as well as distribute notes to the Vendor studio and internal production team.
o Consult with our Partner team regarding delivery and archiving requirements.
o Coordinates materials and ensures that the work is labeled and filed properly
o Schedules meetings and tracks pipeline benchmarks for episodes
o Works with Partner studios to give support and maintain schedule
o Facilitate communication with partner studios by answering questions and coordinating the delivery of materials and notes in a timely manner
o Perform daily check-ins with members of production, editors and supervisors to determine the status of work on the show
o Stays abreast of issues on the floor, anticipates potential issues and elevates information to supervisors
o Respond to all production-related communications in a timely manner as well as gather and distribute production materials
o Basic knowledge of CG asset terminology i.e., modeling, uv's, rigging, textures, lighting, and FX
o Learns the necessary computer programs and network directory system
o Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to oversee multiple tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible
• Ability to work with partner studios
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Mac proficient
• Microsoft Office - knowledgeable use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
• Google - knowledgeable use of Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar
• Adobe - knowledgeable use of Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Knowledge of production tracking databases
• Minimum 5 years of previous TV animation production experience required
• Should be familiar with all aspects of post-production workflow.
• Experience with shared storage and asset management workflows.
• Perform all other applicable duties as assigned by TVA Leadership and per TVA policies and procedures.
