About the Role
We are producing unscripted conversation series on financial topics. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student or recent graduate who is actively building their reel and wants consistent, real-world editing experience.
We need a reliable editor to handle the ''First Pass'' of our raw recordings. Your primary goal is to transform raw dialogue into a clean, professional foundation for our final mix. Additionally, if time permits, you will identify and create engaging teaser clips designed to drive social media growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Dialogue Cleanup: Meticulously remove filler words (e.g., ''ahs,'' ''ums,'' and distracting pauses) while maintaining a natural conversational flow.
• Audio-Visual Alignment: Edit video only to align strictly with the final audio; jump cuts are encouraged, and color correction or grading is not wanted.
• Final Delivery: We will provide the full audio and video recordings via Dropbox and expect you to deliver the completed episode back to us via Dropbox as well.
• Promotional Content: Create engaging video teaser clips from each episode, optimized for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Requirements
• Editing experience with short-form, rhythm-driven cuts (i.e. music video, sports highlight reel, or similar fast-paced, beat edits work)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
• Schedule flexibility, please ensure you have sufficient time in your weekly schedule to focus on and complete edits promptly as files are delivered.
