Accounts Payable Accountant I

This is a Full Time Job

We are looking for an energetic, experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join us at this fun, creative,
entertainment company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Function as an Accounts Payable Account for multiple companies
• Must be able to deal effectively with people, communicate clearly (verbally and written), and
exercise judgement in dealing with non-recurring situations.

DUTIES:
• Code and process invoices for payment
• Perform weekly check disbursements
• Research and resolve billing discepancies
• Maintain and organize record keeping
• Examine accounting reports for completeness, accuracy and conformance with accounting requirements
• Reconcile A/P to G/L & research & resolve discrepancies
• Prepare journal voucher for approval to correct coding errors
• Assist with accurate and timely closings
• Assist with audits, various special projects, year-end requirements

QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Positive attitude
• Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure
• Good communication skills
• Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision
• Has excellent attendance and completes quality work on time
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
