Netflix is seeking a Tax Analyst with strong indirect tax knowledge to support our growing operations in Brazil and to play a hands-on role in local tax compliance and filings. A successful candidate will be highly organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail, while being flexible enough to respond quickly to changing circumstances and new information. This is a

Responsibilities
You will be based in our Alphaville office, reporting directly to the Country Tax Manager, and will work closely with our Tax and Financial Reporting teams in Los Gatos, California and with cross-functional partners in Brazil (e.g., Treasury, Accounting, Finance, Payments, etc.).
Your primary responsibilities will be assisting on day-to-day tax issues and filings, which may include, among others:
• Calculating indirect tax and credit assessment (WHT, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS)
• Preparing and filing tax obligations (EFD ICMS-IPI, EFD Contribuições, EFD REINF, GIA, DCTF, SISCOSERV)
• Applying comprehensive accounting knowledge to effectively analyze tax reports and determine the impact of applicable taxes
• Supporting tax audits by engaging with internal cross-functional teams, and with external auditors and advisors
• Supporting Tax on systems and automation projects
• Assisting with month-end close and preparing tax account reconciliations
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or relevant field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong communications skills, and ability to cultivate positive relationships and rapport with other teams/departments
• Proficient in spreadsheets, ERP and tax systems; experience with Synchro and Google applications preferable; Workday is a plus
• Your experience in a multinational company and / or a large tax firm is a plus
• Flexibility to work across different time zones to connect with international teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond accordingly
• Willingness to seek matters outside area of expertise and be a collaborative stunning

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Portuguese, Advanced English skills (working towards fluency), Spanish is a plus but not required.
