Operations Assistant

This is a Full Time Job

NBC Universal is looking for a long-term temporary Operations Assistant to assist with all program processing, post production, technical, and operational aspects of the E! and Style International Networks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quality Control of Int’l Network media elements, and content compliance with OFCOM regulations and other applicable restrictions
• Quality Control of foreign-language subtitling and dubbing
• Coordination of all Int’l Net digital asset inventory, including program masters, dubbing masters, foreign-language materials, promo & interstitials masters, subtitling files, and transcripts
• Corresponding with Compliance, Traffic, and Programming departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Weekend and Night/graveyard shift required
• Must be available days and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum 1 year in network operations or post-production a plus
• Experience with subtitling or foreign-language dubbing preferred
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy required
• Knowledge of non-linear editing, digital media file types, and Excel software a plus.
• This is a long-term freelance position for the graveyard shift (12:00 am – 9:00 am Wednesday to Sunday) after two weeks of training from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.
