This is a Full Time Job
-Maintain and distribute an updated schedule to Graphics, Lighting, and Stage Managers for the current and upcoming week of production. Keep an updated hard copy posted for reference in control room.
-Find, clip, and distribute reference clips from previous shows for corresponding features, games, and bits planned for the show that day to be sent to crew in studio and to EVS for control room reference
-Clip and send music rehearsal footage to necessary departments
-Record and log RAW footage of rehearsals throughout the day to be posted and sent for reference throughout the studio and office
-Post and update info regarding run of show for edit notes
-Post links to RAW show recordings for access within the office
-Watch show taping and flag any possible issues that may need to be addressed in edit
-Check and download copy of Multicam recording of show taping to be used in edit
-Other duties in control room as needed
Qualifications
-Minimum 1-year experience in television production
-Proficiency in Slack, Microsoft Word, Premiere, Frame.io, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams
Eligibility Requirements:
-College degree preferred
-Interested candidates must submit a resume for this job online to be considered
-Must be willing to work in New York, NY
-Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
-Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
-Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news. Very early morning hours often required
Desired Characteristics
-Excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn and master new skills is a must.
-Strong typing skills required
-Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
-Must be able to recognize celebrities
-Must be well read and up-to-date on topics in entertainment news and pop culture
Additional Requirements:
• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
• This position is paid a weekly rate based on a typical work schedule of 60 hrs/wk. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at an overtime rate. In the event that you work more than the anticipated 60 hrs/wk, you will be paid additional overtime compensation as required by law.
