This is an amazing opportunity to join the National Geographic Australia team on an 11 MONTH CONTRACT.
You will be responsible for producing creative content, for broadcast and non-TV promotional materials to support National Geographic's marketing campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Production
• Create and produce innovative content and campaign concepts and materials covering TV, Digital, Travel and Consumer Products to drive consumer engagement.
• Localisation of creative assets for affiliate campaigns
• Participate in HK's OAP workflow and retain oversight of assets produced by HK for the Australian market.
• Network with regional and global National Geographic creatives.
• Research external and competitive promotional strategies to enhance marketing campaigns for the National Geographic portfolio
• Adhere to production timelines to meet campaign deadlines
• Manage legal for all productions including release forms
• Coordinate marketing production shoots including assembling talent and crew and managing budgets.
• Produce on-air indents
• Localise voice/graphics for on-air and marketing campaign materials as required and supervising final mixes.
• Responsible for admin associated with creative deliverables ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review all creative produced by affiliates and partners using the National Geographic brand with support from Marketing Manager
• Ensure all local creative is editorially accurate and in accordance with brand guidelines.
IN-HOUSE CAMERA DEPT (shared responsibility with Senior Ad Sales Promo Producer)
• Manage and maintain camera equipment and schedule resources.
• Provide in house filming service to other departments
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
• Must have previous experience using Premiere Pro
• Previous experience presenting creative campaign concepts to internal and external key stakeholders
• Strong video editing and script writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• High level of creativity and able to demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation and imagination;
• Ability to understand Brand values and key messages for National Geographic and advocate this where necessary.
• Proven experience managing timelines and budgets
• Understand Australian Media legalities and guidelines
• Possess exceptionally strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Stakeholder management – ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the business and make accountable risk-based decisions
• Previous experience working within a global/regional/international company managing multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver to short lead times, under pressure when necessary.
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter - enjoys solving problems and initiating solutions
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT) AND WORK EXPERIENCE
• Must have previous experience using Premiere Pro
• Tertiary education in Communications or related field is desirable.

• Oversight of the Digital Editor's output of creative
