Position: The Social Media Coordinator will work full-time under the Social Media Manager and Mythical Society Manager, who report to the Director of Audience Development & Distribution. Applicants should have extensive experience with the Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, and YouTube platforms; further experience with Discord is a plus.

Duties Include:
• Managing community and fan interaction on all social media platforms for the @mythical and @mythicalkitchen accounts.
• Occasional commenting and responding to YouTube comments.
• Moderating Discord and interacting with members of the Mythical Society subscription program, plus moderating chats during exclusive quarterly livestreams.
• Monitoring social channels for sentiment and reacting to fan feedback.
• Assisting colleagues in copywriting for social posts.
• Organizing and leading user-generated-content activations to build community and boost brand awareness.
• Assisting in the design/creation of graphics, thumbnails, and short video clips for social platforms.
• Tracking KPIs to develop analytics know-how.
• Developing and maintaining a customer support / FAQ responses guide.
• Assisting in scheduling / checking posts / quality control.
• Assisting in setup of email and SMS campaigns.
• Referring customer service concerns on social media to appropriate contacts.

Other requirements:
• At least 1 year of work experience in a related field
• 4-year college degree
• Must reside in the Los Angeles metro area
• Fluency in GSuite and typical office software
• Some experience with Adobe CS
• All-consuming passion for Internet culture and fandom
