Who are we hiring:
The Extra Laborer is responsible for general cleaning duties and maintaining a safe, orderly
environment. This role also involves physical lifting and moving of equipment during the
building conversion process
What will you do?
• Reporting to their schedule shifts on time and in uniform.
• Physically lifting heavy equipment for arena event changeovers.
• Picking, sweeping, mopping and detailing all forms of arena bowl cleaning.
• Extra Laborers are also specifically responsible for moving trash, handling basketball court, sports floor, portable chairs, hockey glass and hockey dash.
• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered).
• Extra Laborers should have prior experience working with cleaning, hand and power tools, be able to learn several tasks including rigging and the use of snow removal equipment.
• They are also required to maintain a safe, clean and professional working
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

• A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and
organizational skills.
• Follow our safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
• Must possess the ability to work with various operating groups.
• Must have a positive attitude and good team work ethic.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for all internal communication.
• Ability to learn and navigate our scheduling software (WorkForce).
• Basic understanding of technology, utilizing apps, comfortable learning new systems, and adapting to updates.
Special Requirements:
• This position includes heavy lifting and cleaning.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings,
evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Typical shift hours are 11pm-7am; scheduling and amount of hours can vary based on the needs of the business.
Please note this is an event driven role:
• During peak season (October – April) we schedule associates an average of 3-4
nights a week.
• In the off season (May- September) associates are scheduled on an average of 0-2 nights per week, based on the needs of the business and employee availability
• Employee schedules are performance based
