Brand Marketing Coordinator, MS NOW
Job Description
The Brand Marketing Coordinator is a critical member of MS NOW's Brand Marketing team in driving multi-platform growth of the MS NOW brand and individual show properties. They will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing and work closely with members of the broader MS NOW Brand team and Marketing department.
What You'll Do
• Support the development and execution of topical promotion and cross-platform marketing campaigns for the MS NOW brand, shows, podcasts, events, election and breaking news programming, direct-to-consumer product, and digital extensions
• Collaborate with internal Creative, Production and Media teams and external agencies to project manage asset creation from briefing to delivery
• Maintain an up-to-date library of creative assets and talent photography; coordinate and distribute assets as needed to internal and external partners, including social assets via Greenfly
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Programming, Digital, Social, PR, Events, Direct-to-Consumer, Audio, Sales, and Content Distribution, to ensure quality and consistency of MS NOW and show brands
• Leverage audience research and trends to strategize innovative, non-traditional ways to fuel multi-platform audience growth and brand affinity with a focus on targeting new, digital-first consumers
• Voraciously consume MS NOW content; actively identify content to leverage for promotional use
• Support MS NOW Live events, including promotional tactics, event logistics, merchandise management, and occasional travel
• Assist with organizing team activities, meetings, and presentations
Qualifications

• 2 years professional marketing experience or relevant internships
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing news environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A mindset that no task is too big or small
• Experience evaluating marketing creative and providing actionable feedback
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Avid consumer of digital and social content
• Self-motivated, creative and solution-oriented
• Passion for politics and strong grasp of news and current events
• Eager to learn and committed to educating oneself on the business and media landscape
• Positive, collaborative attitude
• Ready to work outside standard business hours when necessary, including on weekends
• Bachelor's Degree
• Willing to submit a writing sample
