The Role
You will serve as a focused Product Manager, supporting the Head of Brands by owning adtech-related features and revenue streams. Your job is to integrate advertising technology, enabling features like the creation of paid search ads for networks such as Google. This role requires specialized knowledge to expand the platform's scope beyond matching algorithms.
What You’ll Do
• Own Programmatic Features: Define and implement product features that enable brands to efficiently utilize influencer-created content in paid search campaigns.
• Integrate Ad Networks: Oversee the product requirements for managing authentication and integrating with major ad networks, particularly focusing on the Google ad network.
• Test Revenue Thesis: Actively explore and validate the hypothesis that a larger market segment exists in programmatic advertising and paid search, rather than exclusively brand deals.
• Support Brand Workflows: Collaborate with the Head of Brands to ensure adtech features seamlessly fit into the overall brand campaign workflow, from brief definition to capital deployment optimization.
• Define Product Execution: Operate as a strong executor who can quickly define the product, write user stories, and partner directly with engineering teams, leveraging autonomy in a chaotic startup environment.
• Data Integration: Understand how to leverage platform data to inform ad targeting and campaign success metrics.
What You’ll Bring
• Programmatic Experience: Essential experience in programmatic advertising.
• AdTech Focus: Specialized knowledge of the ad technology landscape, specifically regarding how content is leveraged for paid advertising and search campaigns.
• Product Execution: Ability to define and execute the product roadmap, write user stories, and work effectively with engineers.
• Resourcefulness & Speed: Capability to operate in a fast-paced, ambitious startup environment, acting as a resourceful individual who can move quickly to meet the project success.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the US market, as all product managers must be US-based for accessibility and cultural understanding.
