Finance Business Partner

The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to bridge the gap between financial and operational requirements and performance. In this role, you will not just report the numbers-you will tell the story behind them.

You will act as a trusted advisor to key non-finance stakeholders (e.g. HR, Sales, Marketing, Operations), providing the financial insights and challenges necessary to drive business performance, optimise costs, and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
• Build strong relationships with department heads to understand their business drivers, pain points, and opportunities.
• Lead the periodic OpEx budgeting and rolling forecast processes for Moonbug and Candle Media.
• Conduct monthly financial and FTE volume variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast), identifying risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly management packs and present findings to the Leadership Team.
• Identify areas for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements within business processes.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Qualified ACCA, CIMA, or CFA (or equivalent).
• 3 years' experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or a Business Partnering role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA/Macros is a plus)
• Exceptional ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
