Spring Intern - Public Relations and Marketing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We're looking for remote interns (if NY or NJ-based, you will have the option to go into the Jersey City office up to twice a week). Interns will be assigned to supporting either the marketing or public relations department based on availability, interest and need. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in resume and network building workshops, executive staff Q+A panels, and a mock campaign presentation. Monthly stipend offered.

Responsibilities may include:

Researching target audiences and contacts for artist tours, news blasts, track & album premieres etc.
Organizing contact lists for marketing and publicity pitches
Writing publicity/marketing pitches and press releases
Social media management
Developing and implementing content calendars
Sales, streaming, and social media tracking / reporting / analysis.
Assisting with company mailings
Creating social media posts and copy
Research and outreach to social media influencers and playlisters

Requirements:

Eligible for course credit
Must have efficient email, writing, administrative and organizational skills
Good research skills are a must
Ability to work independently
Professional demeanor
Innate understanding of music media landscape and social network channels
Proficient with Word, Excel, Google Docs, Twitter, Facebook
Experience with Photoshop and web design not required, but helpful
Passion for music and a desire to work in the music industry
Must be able to bring your own laptop

Dates and structure:

10 hours per week (or more)
1/13-5/15 2026 (dates flexible)
